Daniel S. Peña is Chairman and Founder of The Guthrie Group (TGG), an investment consortium specializing in facilitating transactions, founded in 1997. Dan was also founder, former Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Great Western Resources Inc. (GWRI), a Houston-based natural resource company public on the London Stock Exchange (LSE). He was the Chairman of JPK Industries, Inc., a vertically integrated company in the petroleum industry, involved in oil and gas drilling, operating, production, crude oil refining and marketing. He also served as President and CEO of Kennedy Industries Inc., a company with major interests in real estate, insurance, financial services, and the entertainment industry.
He is currently the Chairman of his personal holding and other growing companies in various industries in the US, Europe, Canada and Asia.

Soraya Hasani started her professional journey in the field of accounting, specializing in the construction and housing services industries. Her forte lies in facilitating clients to enhance their operational processes and boost efficiency, with a keen focus on leveraging automation for optimal results.
As the Vice President of Finance, Soraya brings a wealth of experience to the table. In this leadership role, she oversees the financial operations, implementing strategic initiatives that go beyond traditional financial management. Soraya is dedicated to optimizing our financial processes, introducing innovative solutions, and using automation technologies to enhance overall efficiency. Her role extends to driving financial excellence, ensuring compliance, and contributing to the strategic decision-making that drives our company toward continuous growth and success.
Dwight Willett is an executive advisor, specializing in governance, information technology change initiatives, performance measurement and organization structure. He worked for more than twenty-five years in education, consulting, call center, and gas distribution businesses. He was instrumental in the creation of a joint venture business for providing billing services and customer care to over 2.5 million customers in Canada. In 2002, he was named one of North America’s “Energy Executives of the Year” by Platt’s Energy Markets magazines for innovation in the provision of call center and billing services to utilities in Canada.
Dwight acted as Implementation Lead and Chair of the Transition Committee for the implementation of a cooperative national securities markets regulator from 2014 to 2021. He now provides services as an executive adviser and director. He holds an Education degree and an MBA from the University of Saskatchewan.
Jack Surash is an accomplished senior executive with extensive experience leading diverse billion-dollar organizations utilizing strong engineering, business, and human resource skills and abilities. He is a recipient of the Presidential Award for Leadership in Federal Energy Management, Department of the Army Distinguished Civilian Service Medal, Department of Energy’s Louis R. Harris Award and numerous other recognitions including an Energy Leadership Award from the San Diego Regional Energy Office, an Excellence in Energy Award from the San Diego Business Journal, the California Eureka Award for Performance Excellence and President’s Quality Award Program-Award for Quality Improvement (Malcolm Baldrige criteria).
Jack holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rochester, a Master of Engineering degree from Texas A&M University, Management and Leadership Certificate from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Sloan School of Management, and attended the Advanced Management Program at Fuqua School of Business, Duke University.
Jeffrey Harder has over 40 years of commercial knowledge as a financial professional, strategic business leader, leader of people, and advisor to the corporate and public sectors. He is a retired Partner with Deloitte Canada’sFinancial Advisory Services group.Mr. Harder has significant experience performing financial advisory services, including business, asset and securities valuations, mergers and acquisitions, business modelling and strategic analysis, transaction and dispute services and financial consulting. His assignments have encompassed a range of industries and involve companies located across North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, Russia, Central and South America and Africa.
During his professional services career, he held a number of strategic, governance and operational leadership positions, including: Office Managing Partner, Canada business leader, Americas business leader, Global executive committee member and Board of Directors member.
Mr. Harder is currently a director of and audit committee chair of two TSX Venture companies. He has been a corporate director for private companies. He has served as board director and board chair for professional services, commercial and regulatory organizations.
David Lefebvre is a corporate and commercial partner at Dentons – his practice comprises M&A, private equity, capital markets, joint ventures and corporate governance matters. He has extensive experience working on cross-border matters in North America, Asia, Europe, and Africa. He acted as senior counsel in several of Canada’s larger M&A transactions including acting for: CNOOC International Limited in its US$2.2 billion acquisition of oil sands producer OPTI Canada Inc. and Sinopec. in its $10.6 billion acquisition of Addax. After earning law degrees at Cambridge University, David also earned the designation of IBA Fellow and has received diplomas in International Anti-Trust law; International Capital Markets & Loans; International Joint Ventures; International Business Organizations and International M&A from the College of Law of England and Wales and the IBA.
David is the editor of the Thomson Reuters Alberta Corporation Manual.

Donn Hanbidge is a results-oriented Financial Executive experienced in developing and implementing sound business strategies, with a focus on revenue growth, cost reduction, and financing. He has over 25 years of experience in the energy sector. He was Chief Financial Officer for JCM Power, an independent power producer (IPP) focused on the development, construction and operation of renewable energy assets in Sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia and Latin America; he was also Chief Financial Officer of Ontario Power Generation, one of the largest and most diverse electricity generation companies in North America. Donn also held various senior financial roles at Union Gas, a natural gas transmission, distribution and storage company.
Donn has significant experience related to large complex infrastructure projects. He has provided oversight, monitoring and control over all aspects of the project life cycle from feasibility assessment through structuring and negotiation of contracts, project financing, risk management, and construction.
Rodney Davis, “R” as he is known by many, is a Partner and CFO Practice Lead at GreySuits Advisors. He has been leading change management in private and public organizations for more than 25 years in a number of countries, across a variety of industries. Rodney brings considerable C-Level utilities/infrastructure management to the team by way of his role as CFO Cable and Wireless Barbados, CEO Cable and Wireless Jamaica and CEO Cool Group of Companies (where he acted as CEO for the parent company and CFO for the operating entity running the Shell retail and terminal operations in Jamaica).
Rodney has been on the senior team leading companies public in Toronto, New York, London and Hong Kong.
